Software updates for Stand-alone versions are self-extracting installation patches which update (in-situ) your current version of Lucid software to the latest available version.
This process will usually only update the application files (.exe) and sometimes a sound or graphical file.
Under no circumstances will the installation of the update cause modification or deletetion of any Lucid data (including students' results).
The full list of updates available is shown below. Please note that the updates for the Stand-alone software only apply to the Version 5 series which were introduced from late 2004.

Software updates for Networked versions are small setup .exe files containing the two main application files plus a newer version of an OCX control (Spread 7.0). These should be deployed by an ICT professional or other knowledgeable staff member.
Under no circumstances will the installation of the update interfere with the database (including students' results).
The full list of Network version updates is shown below. The updates can be applied to your current version provided the major version number matches (example v4.02 will update v4.0 but not v3.0).
