Demo downloads

Demonstration versions of most Lucid software products are available for download from this page. The demos are almost identical to their full versions except for the modifications to the Reports generator. In the demos the viewable reports are specially created Case Study examples, of which there are usually three. Although full assessment tasks can be undertaken with the demos, the resultant reports are not viewable. For this reason, demos are not suitable for use in real assessment situations.

THIS AGREEMENT LICENSES USE OF THE DEMO SOFTWARE TO YOU AND CONTAINS WARRANTY AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMERS. BY SELECTING THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON OR SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT OR LOADING THE DEMO SOFTWARE ON TO YOUR SYSTEM, YOU ARE CONFIRMING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE DEMO SOFTWARE AND AGREEING TO BECOME BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

'The Demo Software' means the software program covered by this Agreement, and all related documentation and all related updates supplied by us to you.

This Agreement allows you to use the Demo Software on a computer for evaluation only. You may distribute the Demo Software provided that, (a) you do not gain financial or other benefit in return, and (b) this Demo Licence accompanies the same.
You may make one back-up copy of the Demo Software. You must reproduce on any such copy all copyright notices and any other proprietary legends found on the original.
You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise tamper with the Demo Software unless allowed by law. You may not modify, sell, rent, transfer, resell for profit, distribute or create derivative works based upon the Demo Software or any part of it.
We retain ownership of the Demo Software.
The Demo Software is provided to you free of charge, and on an 'AS IS' basis, without any technical support or warranty of any kind from us including, without limitation, a warranty of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Your rights as a consumer are not affected.
WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE (DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY EXCEPTED) FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (NOR FOR ANY DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS OR THE LIKE), WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE OR OUR SUPPLIERS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. The limited warranty and limited liability set forth above are fundamental elements of the basis of the bargain between us and you. You agree that we would not be able to provide the Demo Software on an economic basis without such limitations.
This Agreement is made under English law and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
